Story Papers, such as two of the most popular shown above, were more family oriented than the Dime Novels and Nickle Libraries of the late 1800s, which were aimed primarily at young men. Story Papers contianed interior illustrations, puzzles and fiction, usually with a moral on proper Victorian conduct.
